Evaluating scratch projects
For this unit, I was required to evaluate 2 scratch projects based on a rubric. I have used this rubric in order to evaluate the two projects.
I have chosen the projects Epic Ninja 1.12 created by griffpatch, and Racing made by socks7. Both projects were in the format of a game.
I would first want to talk about Epic Ninja. This game was very enjoyable, and very easy to play. The artwork consisted of originality and the levels were well designed. The instructions were very well written, and I was given many details on what the purpose of the game was, and how to achieve the goal. The programming was absolutely stunning. It was very advanced, and very well organized.
Now I will talk about the game, racing. For that game, it would have been better if there was some purpose to the game, rather than just moving the arrow around. The visuals were all from the scratch library, and it seemed like there was not much thought put into it.
